The North Worcestershire Footpath runs within a mile of the Site. Many other footpaths and bridleways are also close by.

Clent Hills includes 440 acres of woodland and heathland managed by the National Trust. The hills offer panoramic views as far as the Cotswolds and the Welsh borders and are a haven for bird watchers. There is a wheelchair-accessible trail to the top.

The city of Birmingham is easily reached, with its Bullring shopping centre – including over 160 shops and restaurants – and the National Indoor Arena.

The Black Country Living Museum in Dudley has 26 acres of living history to explore.

Chocolate lovers will enjoy Cadbury World in Bourneville, an area developed by the Cadbury family for its workers.

The West Midland Safari Park is home to white lions, elephants and tigers and has a Wallaby Reserve as well as an area of rides.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery tells the story of 400,000 years of history.

The New Royal Brierley Experience includes a tour of the factory where craftsmen make and cut English crystal using traditional hand skills.

The village of Romsley is a mile and a half from Site. It has a general store, Post Office and two pubs, both serving food.


Memorial Site

Thomas Hiram Holding founded our Club. This site, which has been open for 70 years in 2007, is a memorial to this hugely important figure in Club life.

Worth Noting

Some pitches are sloping and chocks will be required.

Eat Local

The Site shop sells local, free range-eggs. The local Butcher specialises in his own recipes and local meat. There are two farm shops near the Site and several restaurants serving local produce.
