In a former orchard and near the top of Chichester Harbour, our Club Site is in an area renowned for its naval history. There are many attractions for all the family, including the beaches of the south coast.

This is an excellent Site with first class facilities; public transport is so convenient, whether it’s bus or train. This Site has everything going for it. - Mrs B Lyne

Emsworth is a couple of miles from Site. It is popular with sailors, artists, naturalists and walkers. Visit the traditional shipwrights and chandlers. The harbour is a temporary home to many migrating birds.

The city of Chichester is a few miles to the east. It has a Norman cathedral, the excellent Festival Theatre and much Georgian architecture.

Fishbourne Roman Palace has an unmatched collection of mosaics.

Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard holds the Mary Rose and HMS Victory. The city’s newest attraction is Spinnaker Tower, the 170m tall landmark at Gunwharf Quays.

The Sussex Coastal Footpath passes close to the Club Site.

Denmans Garden is only four acres,but is beautiful all year round.

The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum is the leading museum of historic buildings in England.

Goodwood is home to motorsport, horseracing, golf and aviation.

West Wittering beach is uncommercialised and sandy, great for families.

There are several scenic walks from the Club Site. Ask for details at Reception.

Because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities at Chichester Club Site.


Eat Local

There are two farm shops selling fruit and vegetables near the Site along with a pick-your-own farm with fruit in season. Nearby, The Travellers Joy and The Barley Corn pubs both have beer gardens.

Electric security barriers in operation here. Please note there is no parking for visitors.

Please note

There are only Club Service Pitches on the site, therefore the fee of £2.90 per night applies at all times.
