    Top site for beaches

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it has a relaxing ambience and is an ideal setting for kicking back and relaxing after a hectic day exploring the area.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

Worth Noting

Electric security barriers in operation. Please note there is no parking for visitors and, because of the narrow entrance road, there are no overnight parking facilities.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

This was a really lovely site.

This was a really lovely site. So easy to access, bus stop at the door means that you can visit Chichester and Portsmouth (both worth a visit) and a pub right next door selling good, reasonably priced food. What more can one ask. Although the weather was not brilliant, the staff certainly were. Nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly try to get there again - if they are not full.

There was no gravel on the hard standing. The plastic grid was just full of dirt and moss, making it very dirty . The entrance to the site had some large pot holes in the gravel

This is the second time we stayed at this site, the first time we were on a grass pitch at the back of the site, it was very quite and lovely. Even though this time we booked a grass pitch again we were advised that we should have hard standing because it was wet, we agreed but were charged more for the hard standing which we thought was unfair as it was their suggestion. We were then put at the front of the site which was very close to the road, very noisy and the lights from the street kept us both awake. As we had already put up our awning at that point we did not want to move. If we visit the site again we will make sure that we get our grass pitch and not by the front entrance.
