Leg 3: Brentons, St Austell to Bude on the National Cycle Network
On the third leg of your holiday, you will be travelling north through Cornwall, from Brentons St Austell to Bude.
On this leg of the tour you will be taking in the stunning scenery of the north Cornish countryside and coast.
This leg of the tour is approximately 49 miles long and will take approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes to cycle.
On this route you will have the opportunity to cycle along a section of The Camel Trail, giving you access to some of north Cornwall’s most beautiful countryside along a disused railway line.
Stop off at The Old Wainhouse Inn towards the end of your journey, where you can stop for a well-deserved drink and some hearty pub grub. There are also a number of pubs and cafes that you could stop at along the route as you pass through the many towns and villages.
Full step-by-step instructions of the route can be downloaded below, and the map above illustrates the route you will be taking on the third day of your holiday.
