Within easy reach of city, coast and countryside, the New Forest is one of Britain's best-loved escapes and a cracking place for a camping holiday. But in our book, dewy tents and lumpy rollmats don't make happy holiday memories. So why not give glamping in the New Forest a whirl? It's a cute modern twist on the traditional camping experience, preserving plenty of rustic charm with a handful of little luxuries thrown in for good measure.

Local sights include the New Forest Centre and Museum at Lyndhurst, Palace House and Abbey, and the spectacular Exbury Gardens.

Our New Forest glamping site occupies a fantastic base at Verwood on the edge of the famous National Park. Here you'll find your own private two-bed retreat that comes readymade and prepped with plenty of homely essentials, from real beds and sofas right down to cutlery and corkscrews. Never mind fussing over awnings and guide ropes.

Leave that to us, and spend more time exploring the spectacular sights and sounds of the New Forest. It's a real treat for the senses with wide open spaces, dotted with pretty villages (and ponies!) and speckled with ancient ruins like Badbury Rings Hill Fort and Knowlton Church.
