Tyrella Beach

Tyrella Beach

This small beach and dune conservation rea is an enclosed complex within Dundrum Bay and is backed by 25 hectares of mature dunes. These stunning dunes offer great walking opportunities and a look into the habitat of local flora.

Things to do

Due to the management and cleanliness of the beach it was awarded a blue flag in 2011, has maintained its green coast award since 2008 and is annually awarded the Seaside Award.

Great for locals and holiday makers alike, the waters are great for water sport enthusiasts and the beach provides a safe haven for families.

There is a lifeguard on duty during the summer months to ensure your safety whilst swimming and there is a tourist information centre nearby.
