Armagh Planetarium is a world-renowned astronomical educational establishment. Established in 1968 its purpose is to bring astronomy to a wider audience.
The planetarium is suitable for all ages, from tiny tots to the older generation. It’s the ability to cater for all ages that has kept the planetarium at the forefront of science since its formation.

For summer 2017 this is an event not to miss. Some of your favourite costumed characters will make an appearance including Harry Potter, Spiderman, Star Trek, Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Aliens and many more! Don’t forget your camera, there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

On entering the grounds to Armagh Planetarium follow the signs to free parking facilities. Parking bays close to the Planetarium entrance are reserved for use by disabled visitors and are marked accordingly.
Coming from Belfast
Take the M1 motorway exiting at Portadown (M12). Follow the ring-road to Armagh. The Planetarium is on the main Armagh - Portadown road and is clearly signed with brown tourist information signs.
Coming from Dungannon
From Dungannon take the A29 road to Armagh via Moy. Drive straight through Moy. As you approach Armagh you will pass a shopping complex on the left. Take a right turn at the roundabout and drive until you approach the Mall, and at this mini roundabout turn left towards Portadown. You will pass the courthouse on the left and further along this road (College Hill) the Planetarium is also located on the left.
