Surrounded by towering cliffs and the Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, Whitecliff Bay Beach is a privately owned beach made up of sand and shingle. This beach is nestled in a bay and is an attractive and relaxing spot that offers a variety of facilities as well as access to a range of activities.
Accessing the beach is easy via public transport, as there are buses that stop outside the holiday park. Driving to the area is also easy but parking spaces at the holiday park may be limited. It is worth noting that the beach does not allow dogs.
This is a beach that is cleaned on a regular basis, so it is ideal for relaxing. It also comes recommended by the Marine Conservation Society and boasts excellent water quality. This makes it ideal for activities such as body boarding and swimming as well as other water activities.
If you enjoy walking and taking in natural beauty you will also find plenty to do here, as you can choose from one of a variety of footpaths that will take you on wonderful coastal walks where you can enjoy incredible views of the sea and of the general area from the cliff tops.
