Located in West Lulworth, Dorset, Durdle Door – East Beach is a narrow sand and shingle beach.
It’s well known for the Durdle Door Arch, which protects the eastern area of the beach. The path leading to the beach is steep and runs for around 800 metres, so this may not be ideal for those who have mobility issues.

The beach also allows dogs, making it ideal for pet owners. With excellent water quality, this is a great place to enjoy a host of water activities. Some of the popular activities here include scuba diving, swimming, fishing, and snorkelling.
It is worth noting, however, that there is no lifeguard on site at this beach and that there can sometimes be marine debris although the beach is well maintained.
