The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre
Did you know that the Roald Dahl Museum is actually in the Buckinghamshire village where he lived and wrote for 36 years?
The museums aimed at 6-12 years olds but all ages are sure to have a great time. There are three interactive galleries, one focuses on Roald Dahl’s school days, one features his original writing hut and The Story Centre puts imagination at centre stage, inspiring the writer in all of us. There are daily craft drop in sessions and storytelling workshops at the weekends and during the summer holidays.
Each visitor to the museum gets a wristband, allowing you to drop in and out as much as you’d like during the day of your booking. If you’re visiting during the school holidays we recommend booking in advance online.
The museum is committed to being accessible for all but please visit the website for full information.
