Royal Air Force Museum London
London’s Royal Air Force Museum makes a great day out for all. From aviation enthusiasts to families with young children, there is something to do for all.
A Vulcan Bomber, a life-size F-35 fighter jet and models from various historical periods are all on display. Hangers dedicated to British Aviation, Bombers, the Battle of Britain and the history of flight are all there to explore.
Kids will enjoy the Aeronauts Interactive Centre with hands on flight science with 50 purpose built exhibits. Flight simulators, a 4D Theatre Ride, shop and café can be enjoyed by all ages.
There is a café on site for refreshments and also a picnic area for those that prefer to bring along their own food and drinks.
The museum has superb accessible facilities for wheelchairs and staff members are on hand to assist visitors around all areas of the museum.
The London RAF museum branch has limited until Summer 2017 parking and therefore advise traveling by public transport to the museum. There is an onsite car park charging a small fee which goes towards the maintenance of the museum.
