Owner Satisfaction Surveys
Thousands of you shared feedback on your camping units in the Club's first combined Owner Satisfaction surveys in 2016, and many more have done the same this year, ahead of our glittering January 2018 awards ceremony. And what's more, this year's survey had questions on trailer tents and folding campers for the first time too.
The Caravan and Motorhome surveys, run jointly by The Camping and Caravanning Club, Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines, are designed to reveal the best in caravan and motorhome reliability, build quality and great customer service offered by suppliers. These surveys are also the first of their type to feature both new and pre-owned motorcaravans.
Similarly, the Club's Tent Owner Satisfaction Survey seeks to investigate your thoughts and feelings on tents.
Last year's findings revealed that poor fit and finish (caravans), sloppy pre delivery inspections (motorhomes) and poor quality pegs (tents) were among your most commonly voiced complaints, and we hope to see fewer instances of these this year.
By celebrating the best caravans, motorhomes and tents on the market, and highlighting areas for improvement, we aim to improve the overall quality and reliability of units on sale today. Our aim is to help you shop smarter and buy better, dependent on your particular camping needs.
We'll reveal the findings of this year's surveys at an awards ceremony in January 2018, so stay tuned for updates, both online and in the Club magazine. In the meantime, don't forget to look at our earlier findings before purchasing your next camping unit.
