National Camping and Caravanning Week felt like even more of a celebration this year, as we could once again enjoy the best of the UK and spend that all-important time with our loved ones.
Whether you're at home or staying on a campsite this summer, don't forget to check out our videos for inspiration ahead your next holiday. Julia Bradbury is a TV presenter and passionate advocate of the great outdoors who has spent her career exploring much of it. Among her many shows over the past two decades are BBC One’s Countryfile, Watchdog, Devon and Cornwall Walks with Julia Bradbury and Britain’s Best Walks.
Julia has been President of The Camping and Caravanning Club since 2013 and has been at the forefront of many National Camping and Caravanning Weeks including lighting up the Great Ridge in the Peak District National Park at night with 600 volunteers wearing head torches, being the first person to camp on top of the O2 arena in London, and pending the night in a caravan on the first floating campsite on the Thames.
Gemma Hunt is a familiar face on Children's TV, which includes Swashbuckle, the BAFTA-award winning gameshow. She is also one of the presenters of the BBC’s Songs of Praise and appears at live festivals such as Big Church Day out.
When Gemma is not presenting TV shows, she enjoys running children’s events and is an active member of her local church.
Mary-Ann Ochota is a TV presenter and author and you might recognise her from TV shows like Mystic Britain on Smithsonian Channel. She’s also the hiking and walking ambassador for the British Mountaineering Council and is really passionate about getting more people confident to explore the great British countryside, whether that’s helping families work out where to go for a fun morning outdoors, or helping individuals develop their skills to start exploring the higher hills and mountains of Britain. Mary-Ann will be joining Club President Julia Bradbury for NCCW.

Holly Barber is a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide. Based on the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, nature & forest therapy, is a mindfulness and well-being practice that is designed to help you to reconnect with the nature both in and around you through a series of invitations that open your senses and heart.

Andrew Dickens is a Camping & Caravanning Club Presenter, BBQ Chef and Live Events Host. He has been giving BBQ advice and demonstrations on the Club Stand at the Camping, Caravan and Motorhome Shows at the NEC for well over a decade!
Andrew has also hosted and cooked for some of the most prestigious Live Food Events in the UK & Internationally including Taste of Dubai, Ideal Home Shows, the London & Southampton Boat Shows, Great British Bake Off Live, ITV’s This Morning Live and many more. Andrew’s wife, Zoe is also a Club Presenter and along with their two daughters have been members of the club for many years. They are all looking forward to visiting our Club Sites again this summer!
Simon McGrath is an award-winning journalist and former magazine editor, and the author of Camping with Kids, which is sold in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Simon began his career in journalism more than 30 years ago and for nearly a decade was Editor of Camping & Caravanning magazine, the world’s oldest and largest circulating title for all types of camping.
He is passionate about encouraging people, especially youngsters, to get active and connected with nature in the great outdoors – and feels the best way to do that is through camping in all its different forms.
