Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays reveals all-new Japan tour for 2016/17
Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays, from The Camping and Caravanning Club, has launched a new escorted tour to appeal to adventurous holiday makers with a passion for the ancient cultures and traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun – Japan.
The motorhome tour of Japan, which features in the new brochure for 2017/18, lasts 20 days and its itinerary includes dazzling Tokyo, a number of Japan’s beautiful temples and shrines, and the Hiroshima Peace Park.
Those on the tour will gain an unrivalled insight into Japan, beginning with a visit to the ultra-modern capital city, followed by a drive through the Japanese Alps. The tour winds through rural Japan, and takes in Hikone Castle, one of the most beautiful and oldest original-construction castles in the country at over 400 years old.
There’s a chance to explore the historic city of Kyoto, and a ride on the famous bullet train to visit the ruins of the A-Bomb Dome at Hiroshima. The tour will then visit the beautiful Five Lakes area, with stunning views of Mount Fuji, before winding back to Tokyo.
Richard Grimsdale, Travel Services Director at Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays, said: “We’re delighted to add Japan to our worldwide programme. It’s completely different to our other offerings, but the promise of early summer in Honshu and wide, accessible roadways – driving on the left, remember – present a great opportunity for an unforgettable adventure with a real difference.”
The Japan tour is just the latest fabulous destination to feature in the new Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays brochure. It joins another new tour, to Western Australia, and five existing destinations: Argentina, Canada, New Zealand, the USA and Southern Africa.
The brochure includes inspiration and guidance to help travellers get the most from their trip, featuring 12 Escorted Tours and 17 tailor-made fly-drive holidays across the globe.
All holiday types are fully bookable over the phone when speaking with a Worldwide Motorhoming Holidays Travel Specialist. Enquiries can also be made online via the intuitive website.
The website www.worldwidemotorhomingholidays.co.uk includes the option to create an itinerary and tailor-make a perfect holiday which can then be shared with the team for a quotation – simply click ‘My Worldwide’ at the top of the page to get started.
