Despite the recent extreme weather, The Camping and Caravanning Club is reporting that 99 per cent of its Club Sites have been unaffected and are ready to welcome campers for their Spring and Easter breaks.

The Somerset Levels has been reported to be one of the worst hit areas of the country however the Club advises that its Club Sites, which are located in the area and due to open as scheduled in mid-March and April, are easily accessible. Located by the coast and in the Mendip Hills, they’re away from the flooded areas.

The Club is also delighted to announce the re-opening of its Chertsey Club Site on Friday, 7 March. Following severe flooding, the Holiday Site Managers have been tirelessly working with the Environment Agency to ensure the site is clean and well maintained to meet campers’ expectations.

The Club will continue to work hard to ensure its campsites are ready to welcome campers.

If you have any weather related queries or concerns, please contact your chosen Club Site directly.
