Soak up the rich culture and heritage of Southern Spain on The Camping and Caravanning Club’s new Escorted Tour of Andalucía.

The 17-day escorted tour will run from Monday, April 29 to Wednesday, May 15, 2013 and offers campers; unspoilt scenery, authentic hospitality and gastronomy plus an abundance of ‘hidden places’ that are just waiting to be explored.

Highlights of the tour include; the breath taking scenery of Las Alpujarras, a visit to a private wolf park and the annual Patio Festival in historic Cordoba. Campers will even find themselves travelling to Guadix to visit the famous caves that are to this day, still inhabited by residents!

The Club’s Carefree Travel Service now offers twelve European Escorted Tours in sought-after holiday destinations. The combination of excursions accompanied by local guides, as well as time to explore alone, make these tours extremely popular.

Richard Grimsdale, the Club’s Travel Services Director, is delighted to add Andalucía to the list of tours available to members.

He said: “We aim to cater for all of our members and believe our new Escorted Tour of Andalucía will appeal to many. We’ll be taking campers right into the heart of the Spanish region – which is one of the most beautiful and culturally rich regions in Europe, making Andalucía such a treasured holiday destination.

“Europe is perfect for a camping or touring holiday. It’s easy to travel to and has an air of familiarity but yet it has a variety of new cultures and experiences which are all just waiting to be explored.”
The Escorted Tour of Andalucía costs from just £1,980 in a motorhome and £2,020 in a car/caravan (based on two people sharing). Additional costs for families and extra adults are available on request.

Return ferry crossings from Dover to Calais are also included in the price.
