The Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) has confirmed The Camping and Caravanning Club’s monthly magazine, Camping and Caravanning, as the world’s largest circulation monthly magazine for all forms of camping.

The new ABC figure gives Camping and Caravanning an average monthly circulation of 201,827 for the period January to December 2006, breaking the 200,000 barrier for the first time. The magazine is distributed to all Club members, so this figure reflects a significant rise in the number of people joining the Club over the last year.

Chris Ward, Chairman of The Camping and Caravanning Club’s Communications Committee – which oversees Camping and Caravanning – says: “I’m delighted to see the new ABC figure. It’s a major attribute of our Club that it can go to other key organisations and say we boast a monthly magazine that is read by such an impressive number of people – all of whom are active campers, caravanners and motorhome users.”
