The Camping and Caravanning Club today launches its Shout media campaign to encourage the outdoors industry to join it in spreading the camping and caravanning message.

The Shout Campaign aims to re-ignite the fire behind camping, caravanning and other related initiatives by enrolling journalists, manufacturers, dealers, retailers and any other industry officials to join the Club and help them to Shout louder and clearer.

Now over 100 years old, the Club has invested a great deal of time and effort into improving the camping experience for its 400,000-plus members. They have shouted out for the rights of campers and caravanners; they have shouted to the masses in an effort to introduce new people to camping and caravanning; and they’re at the forefront of new camping and caravanning initiatives.

Sam Hill, Public Relations Officer for The Camping and Caravanning Club, says: “Club membership has grown 10% year on year for the past three years and we now have over 400,000 active members. The bigger the Club gets, the

more members we represent and the louder we intend to Shout. Of course, we can’t do it on our own. We rely on you to help us to spread the camping and caravanning message, and indeed the heart and soul of the industry.”

“Over the proceeding months there’ll be a continuous flow of information from the Club about all of the things we’re shouting about. If you don’t currently receive the Club’s press releases then please contact me or my colleague Ruth Walmsley and we’ll make sure you get everything you need to join in and Shout with us.”
