The Camping and Caravanning Club, in association with Land Rover is offering its highly popular ‘Start Caravanning’ initiative at the new London Caravan & Outdoor Show at ExCeL.

Start Caravanning will run throughout the Show, 27 - 30 October, to give visitors the opportunity to hitch up and tow a caravan around the ExCeL London campus. Land Rover will provide a range of cars to be used under the expert guidance of the Club’s Caravan Manoeuvring Instructors.

The free 30-minute sessions are available to all visitors, so If you’re thinking of buying a caravan, a new towcar or are just a little nervous about towing, book your sessions on stand number 1072 during the show and discover how easy it really is to tow a caravan.

The Club’s Director General, David Welsford, says: “Start Caravanning has been running for the past three years at the National Boat Caravan & Outdoor Show in February and the Club’s Manoeuvring Instructors have been encouraging novices to tow and old timers to improve their skills for many years. We’ve had some great feedback from the hundreds of people who’ve tried it so far.”

Drivers taking part in the initiative are required to produce a full driving licence that has been held for over two years (without serious accident or convictions) and be over 21 years old.
