If you're in the north east make sure you make a bee-line for Malton. It's the UK’s most dog-friendly town according to voters in the 2018 DogFriendly Awards, offering visitors with canine companions a wealth of dog-friendly shops and eateries. And, it's just down the road from the Club’s Slingsby Site (dog-friendly, of course).  The pretty market town of Keswick in Cumbria was voted a worthy runner up to Malton for its endless walking opportunities and warm welcome to pooches, who can expect everything from bowls of fresh water in the street to dedicated dog menus in pubs, and shop owners who are happy for mutts to have a browse around their store. Keswick Club Site, a short walk from the town’s centre, also welcomes dogs on a lead.
