In order to research my December print magazine’s Eat Local column, I selflessly headed to the Conker Spirit gin distillery in Dorset. Their particular brand of gin truly fits the Eat Local profile as it’s distilled with hand-picked gorse from the New Forest, Marsh samphire from the local coast and New Forest spring water. It also happens to very drinkable.
