The Barge Inn, Devizes
Avon and Kennet Canal
The Barge Inn has a wonderful selection of ‘local’ beers, which isn’t surprising – it is owned by the Wadsworth Brewery which is based just down the road (river) in Devizes. If beer isn’t your thing, not to worry – the wine and gin offering is pretty impressive too – perfect for supping on a summers day outside in the pub garden. From here you can watch the watery world go by; the long boats and barges go about their business on the Kennet & Avon Canal that runs alongside the pub garden. Just 30 minutes walk from our Devizes Club Site, this is a perfect spot to watch the sun go down.
