Vango is credited with bringing inflatable-tube tents into the mainstream and more recently it’s blazed a trail in inflatable-tube awnings as well. The Varkala (named after a seaside town in India) was awarded ‘Awning of the Year’ in 2016 by Practical Caravan and its many practical features and good sales figures have ensured its continuation over the years.
The 420 comes with three sections in its standard form and four inflatable tubes. You can extend this with extra sections or by adding an annex at the end. There’s also an inner tent available to allow you to sleep inside.
