As soon as the government gave the go ahead for overnight camping in early July after coronavirus lockdown, and the Club was able to open most of its campsite network once again, my family and I were in a hurry to get our summer started. So we booked a weekend at the Club’s Cambridge Site, in our Adria Altea 622DK Avon long term test caravan, to tie in with my father in law’s 70th birthday.
It was the first time we’d seen my wife’s side of the family for several months, and the ability to stay overnight nearby on a site, keeping the right side of the rules on staying with relatives, was a huge bonus that made logistics that bit easier for everyone involved.
