Guide to Fife produced for disabled visitors
A charity website that allows disabled people to review and share accessible places to visit has launched a new guide for the Fife region of Scotland.
Euan’s Guide has produced the Fife Accessible Highlights guide to help disabled people find things to do and places to stay that are easily accessible for them, and encourages people to share their stays in the region with digital postcards. The guide is the third printed by the charity so far.
Co-founder of the charity, Euan MacDonald, said: “For wheelchair users, it can be difficult to find accessible places to go, even if it’s just for a coffee with friends or to enjoy a stroll along the coast. There can be a fear of the unknown and Euan’s Guide is there to offer that all-important information to disabled people and their friends and family when considering visiting a place for the first time.”
A good base to help you explore Fife and its numerous attractions is Scone Club Site in nearby Tayside, which also has dedicated accessible facilities for disabled visitors.
