Club's best CS 2018 announced
Manor Farm Camping near Beverley in East Yorkshire has been voted the Camping and Caravanning Club’s Best Certificated Site (CS) for 2018.
The site also scooped the Best CS for Families award, in part thanks to its large park and play area for young children to enjoy that is fringed by quiet places where parents can keep watch.
It also has a good mix of pitch types, backpacker facilities, a drying room and a motorhome service point.
The site is owned by Catherine Barker, a long-time motorhomer who has spent many years touring France and enjoying rallies in Spain with the Club.
She said: “Since we opened we have worked hard to improve our site facilities. I have a young family and it’s been nice to get them involved in opening up our home for tenters, caravanners and motorhomers to enjoy.”
The Best CS awards are based on positive nominations and reviews from Club members, as well as input from the Club’s volunteer Site Assessment Officers. Pitches on CSs start from just £10 per night and many of the sites, including this one, are open all year round.
