Wi-fi is now free at the majority of Club Sites thanks to a programme to expand and improve services throughout the network.
Coverage and range has also been extended at 29 different Club Sites, meaning the average wi-fi speed at the majority of sites should be, under usual circumstances, perfect to shop online, search and book campsites, or check emails and social media.
Bob Hill, the Club’s Sites Director, said: “While we’re big advocates for disconnecting from technology when enjoying the great outdoors, we understand that sometimes a quick check of emails or the ability to plan an onward journey can help make life a little easier.”
Free wi-fi now covers more than 85 per cent of the Club’s UK site network, with each site having various hotspots that the Site team can direct you towards.
The Club has invested more than £500,000 in extending wi-fi coverage in recent months. And campers staying at Club Sites year round, including Oxford and Canterbury will be able to enjoy free wi-fi going forward. Free wi-fi will be available at other sites as they open over the coming weeks.
