Bailey of Bristol claimed the prestigious overall winner gongs in each of the Tourer of the Year 2019 and Motorhome of the Year 2019 awards schemes from Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines.
Bailey’s new 8ft wide Pegasus Grande Messina was only officially revealed on the afternoon of the awards ceremony (look out for our review of the new range in our upcoming November issue of the magazine on this). It’s the latest addition to the trend for wide-bodied tourers, and took the top gong in the awards scheme judged by a team of the magazine’s journalists.
Among motorhomes, it was the compact, two-berth Bailey Advance 66-2, a low-profile coachbuilt with a rear washroom, that walked away with top honours.
The Motorhome of the Year 2019 awards scheme had 10 further category winners, and the Caravan of the Year 2019 scheme has a further nine category winners, including Best Awning and Best Accessory.
