Nairn - Inverness

Nairn offers the best of both worlds; set within a stunning Highland forest, having natural shelter and being level yet offering great marine life close to the site. Spend your time attending some of the great summer events and attractions nearby, dolphin spotting on the Moray Firth or simply relaxing on site!

The attractive seaside town of Nairn has two Blue Flag beaches and a promenade with fantastic views over the Moray Firth. The town hosts a number of festivals including a Book and Arts Festival, International Jazz Festival and the Highland Feast – a food and drink festival. And in August is hosts Scotland’s only free-entry Highland Games.

Explore Inverness’ old town or enjoy walks along the Caledonian Canal and the River Ness, which is a mere 15 miles from the site, further afield, yet within an hour’s drive of the town you can visit Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Clava Stones, Loch Ness, Castle Urquhart, Culbin Forest and the new viewpoint tower, the Cairngorms National Park, Cairngorm Mountain Railway, the Strathspey Steam Railway, Ballindalloch Castle, Elgin Cathedral and the Whisky Trail, you’ll need somewhere peaceful to return home to!
