We arrived and were welcomed warmly, the site is leafy and pitches are secluded and forest floor type. We loved the back to nature feel and how quiet it was. The facilities were spotless but the only downfall was the showers desperately need updating; the water does not drain away quick enough and you find yourself standing in freezing water without a dry patch to dress in. This is small price to pay though for a delightful site.

We were welcomed in reception by Sarah, the service was exceptional and well organised. We were then pitched by Ron, he was very helpful explaining the local area. We have a dog, who absolutely loved her stay. The site is doggy friendly with water bowls and a doggy station and fantastic grounds to walk and sniff! We left before Easter Sunday, but we noticed colouring for the children which was great. The site was overall very clean for the time of year, the toilet block was cleaned regularly to a high standard. We visited Bognor Regis, of which was dull due to the weather. We also visited Chichester, a nice small town not too far from site. We went to Portsmouth, the beach is nice, stones and some sand but the dog was impressed! We managed to forget some toiletries, but this wasnt a problem as the shop on site had all the essentials you could imagine! Very handy. The access road up the site has some pot holes, of which looked like they had been attempted to fill but still some small holes when approaching the site. Overall the site is a fantastic rural escape from the city, situated in the woodland it was most relaxing. Sarah and Ron were friendly, helpful and nothing was any trouble. I would most definitely recommend the site and we will be visiting again. Thank you.

We were welcomed by Mandy who was very friendly.

We were welcomed by Mandy who was very friendly. We told her that we were relative newbies to motor homing and as yet had nit used our levelling chocs. To make things easier for us she immediately identified an alternative very flat pitch close to the toilets and washing up facilities. The shop was well stocked we had left the mayonnaise and salad cream behind- no problem there. Lots of lovely walks all printed out in a little booklet on sale for 50p In recognising that so many people love their dogs and like them to be with them whilst camping, the gesture of 'dogs go free' is so kind and thoughtful. There are games to play amongst the trees and land on the site. When we go back, we will play them. We ran out of time this visit. The colours in the wood in the height of October were magnificent. We plan to go back in the spring as the colours of the Rhodedendrons should be amazing. Thanks guys!
