We arrived in a heavy April shower but the warm welcome of the site managers cheered our spirits. We settled on a delightful pitch at the edge of woodland. The walks from the campsite are particularly pretty at this time of year because of the bluebells, primroses and other wildflowers. We chose it because of its proximity to Petworth House but will certainly come again and explore the region more fully. Graffham village is a short walk away and I would recommend the Village Stores for morning coffee as well as a wide range of produce. Hopefully the shower facilities might be updated soon because they are a bit dated. Well done the Site Managers for being such great ambassadors for the 'Friendly Club'.

Graffham site today would please its founder Hubert Visick by having retained its essential character of peaceful rural tranquility. Its 'close to nature' setting offers sightings of Deer and abundant bird and wildlife. Set amid Heath and Woodland Graffham is wonderfully different to the open-field style of site and offers a maze of secluded pitches suitable for all types of unit. I have been returning to this site for over fifty years and it never fails to please. Children and adults alike can explore the area and enjoy some rare peace and quiet. The entrance does have a narrow track of about 200 meters but one can see if the way is clear and it should not deter anybody towing a caravan if care is taken. Gentle walks from the site can be had in all directions and a village shop and pub are only a twenty minute walk away. I am grateful to the friendly and helpful site management staff for a wonderful stay in April 2018. The upkeep of the site and its facilities was first class. My family have all loved this site and I hope to return again and again. Paul D
