This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

On the afternoon I arrived I had a bad fall when I landed on the wood picnic table someone had moved behind my van. When on the floor in agony I called the worker for help he looked at me on the floor and walked away. (He did redeem himself when I left by helping me hook up) I had to go to A & E and when I got back I was locked out of the sit so had to negotiate the site in the pitch black in agony. I found it annoying that the staffs dogs barked all the time they were not in their van. The showers were very dated and the farthest from the door was the only one fit to use as the water flowed down to the last one so you got everyone's waste water pooling in your shower. The site was not as advertised e.g. loud road noise (I was woke at 3 am with lorries going past), the quiz is once a month, tea and cake on a Thurs morning and that was it. It said bus stopped outside twice a day, the bus no longer runs. The site is very isolated and there was no sign of the 'rolling hills' from the site. If you like walking and cycling this is a good site but for eating out (avoid the fish and chip van) or sight seeing you need to go 3 to 7 miles to find somewhere to eat although I did find a truckers cafe to the East across the A5. Would I stay again? No, the staff showed no concern for the well being of their guests I felt we were an inconvenience to them even if you asked a question the reply was surly and often the response showed no knowledge of the area. I have rated it as I have largely based on the sites upkeep rather than a nice place to stay for an interesting holiday. There were a lot of dogs on the site so their owners must like this site and we all look for different things but as I am not a walker of cyclist this site was no for me.

Nice site and friendly couple good shower block, hard standing pitches where good but grass pitches to close. Good pub in village of Knockin with good food, half a mile down road, the only fault we found with the site but it was not there fault we had Helicopter training over the site both nights at about 11pm for about 10-15mins

This site was immaculate.

This review is for Oswestry, Cranberry Moss

This site was immaculate. We got a lovely welcome and the wardens couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. No playpark for the children but we had games with us so that was not a problem. Washing up facilities were very good and lovely hot showers in the very clean toilets. Highly recommended
