No sign for reception but it's the only house there so obvious, as the owner said.

No sign for reception but it's the only house there so obvious, as the owner said. Very friendly and helpful people. A nice stroll to the village where there's everything you could need. Yes, a gentle hum of traffic from the motorway but you must be a very light sleeper if you find it unbearable; didn't bother me. Facilities are a bit basic but again that's fine by me as long as they're clean, which they are. Good value too. I'd recommend it.

We liked this place - June was welcoming and helpful, the pitches were easy to access, flat and well-maintained, the facilities were simple but perfectly functional and clean. The location is handy for a stopover, being close to the motorway, and it's the noise of the traffic that has divided other reviewers. Yes, it's there, and constant, and was louder in the morning because it was raining, but it's a kind of white noise which we found much less disturbing than, say, yelling children would have been, or than the occasional loud motorbike on a quite country road at other sites. The noise didn't bother us, despite the fact we were in a pop-top van and so separated from it mostly by canvas! And everything else about the site was fine - we'd happily stay here again if passing this way.

What a wonderful little site. Very flat and immaculate ground. Having a tap next to each pitch is a bonus and waste water straight into a pipe. Loo and shower are very clean. Easy to find just off motorway.
