In the Northumberland National Park, perfect for outdoor activities and great days out.

Located in the Northumberland National Park and Northumberland International Dark Sky Park – considered to be the most tranquil place in the UK – our Bellingham Club campsite will appeal to campers looking for a relaxing break as well as those seeking adventure.

This is a level, well maintained 70 pitch campsite with modern facilities including a shop, short dog walk, children’s play area, warm indoor social space, kitchen, drying room, family wet room and games room.

There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the site. Walk to the busy village of Bellingham (20 mins) and then to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfall through ancient woodland. Enjoy a walk along the North Tyne riverbank, fish for salmon, cycle the quiet lanes to Greenhaugh village, or spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park, northern Europe’s largest man-made lake (25 mins drive). At Kielder, there are many cycle trails, fishing and watersports. As befits an International Dark Sky Park, the area has exceptionally low light pollution and offers breathtaking night skies. A visit to the Kielder Observatory takes you closer to the stars.

History lovers will enjoy Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the remarkable National Trust properties of Cragside and Wallington.

Bellingham also have camping pods.

Bellingham currently holds a 5 Star rating with Visit England and an AA 5 Pennant Gold Award.

Pros....good facilities and kept clean. Great drying room and useful kitchen. Good views.

Pros....good facilities and kept clean. Great drying room and useful kitchen. Good views. Staff efficient and organised. Cons. Office closes at 5.30 which I think is too early for a big site....particularly if you need to buy tokens for the washing machine. We suffered badly from nearby snorers as quite a busy and cramped up site. Some staff a little grumpy.

We stayed here for 2 nights and I would throughly recommend. On arrival we were given a very friendly and warm welcome. The staff on this site are amazing, nothing is a problem - they loaned us an extension for our electric hook up and even helped jump start our car after the battery ran flat. Facilities are lovely and clean. Will definitely return. Thanks.

Really lovely site with very friendly, helpful staff and great amenities. We picked this site as it was close to Keilder Forest and Im so glad we did. The toilets and showers were clean and the washing up facilities were good, they even provide washing up bowls to use. We did have great weather during our stay and my son spent many happy hours playing in the playground. There is a small site shop for basics and a range of shops, cafes and pubs in Bellingham. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back soon.
