In the Northumberland National Park, perfect for outdoor activities and great days out.

Located in the Northumberland National Park and Northumberland International Dark Sky Park – considered to be the most tranquil place in the UK – our Bellingham Club campsite will appeal to campers looking for a relaxing break as well as those seeking adventure.

This is a level, well maintained 70 pitch campsite with modern facilities including a shop, short dog walk, children’s play area, warm indoor social space, kitchen, drying room, family wet room and games room.

There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the site. Walk to the busy village of Bellingham (20 mins) and then to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfall through ancient woodland. Enjoy a walk along the North Tyne riverbank, fish for salmon, cycle the quiet lanes to Greenhaugh village, or spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park, northern Europe’s largest man-made lake (25 mins drive). At Kielder, there are many cycle trails, fishing and watersports. As befits an International Dark Sky Park, the area has exceptionally low light pollution and offers breathtaking night skies. A visit to the Kielder Observatory takes you closer to the stars.

History lovers will enjoy Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the remarkable National Trust properties of Cragside and Wallington.

Bellingham also have camping pods.

Bellingham currently holds a 5 Star rating with Visit England and an AA 5 Pennant Gold Award.

I came to spend 3 nights here, but spent 5 Staff Brilliant, Helped when needed as it was first time in my motorhome. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Cannot fault the site had everything, including a camper kitchen, another fantastic idea. It was spotless and well managed. They had everything you needed, map to the village, 10 mins walk, by the side of the river. local pubs, restaurants, local shops & small co op. Didnt see many sights, as my small dog was taken ill, good vet in the village, very nice, if you ever needed one I would give them more stars but only had 5, highly recommended. I will be back, thank you for looking after me, with my disability.I cannot thank them enough.

This really was an excellent site, the facilities are much better than any other camping caravan site I've been to, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The town is in easy walking distance, and on the way was a kids playpark which was a nice stop off point. The playpark at the site was also great too, our kids played there for hours. We had problems with the dreaded midges, so I would take better care to stay closed in the tent at the beginning and end of the day in the future. But other than that it was a perfect stay.
