Sandringham Club campsite is in a delightfully secluded spot, within the grounds of the Royal Estate in Norfolk.

Campers will love the tranquillity offered by this woodland site where many pitches are set among trees. Away from the site, nature and RSPB reserves, as well as sandy beaches including Hunstanton and Brancaster will keep all family members entertained.

You won’t have to venture to far from your unit to find things to do at this Club Site. The Sandringham Estate, the country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen, has more than 60 acres of gardens and 600 acres of woodland and heath – over a quarter of which make up the country park which is open to the public. There’s also a visitor centre, a restaurant and a museum of royal memorabilia and vehicles.

Quiet roads and forest tracks around the site are ideal for walkers and dog walkers. Cyclists too can enjoy the quiet roads and Norfolk Coast Cycleway which passes the site.

Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Worth Noting

Food, campers’ essentials and gas available from the shop in site reception. The site is now fully digital and TV reception is good.

Seasonal Canine Illness

The Animal Health Trust (AHT) advises dog owners to be vigilant when walking their pets in any woodland, especially between the months of August and November, and recommend you seek immediate veterinary advice should you be at all concerned about the health of your dog. You’ll find more information about Seasonal Canine Illness on the Animal Health Trust website.

Eat Local

The Sandringham Visitor Centre sells produce from the Royal Estate, including apple juice, pies and preserves. Farmers' markets are held at Snettisham and on Sandringham Estate. Well stocked shop available on site.

We absoluteky loved this site.

We absoluteky loved this site. It was very quiet whilst we were here and were able to choose our own pitch. Good level spacious pitches, not sure how crowded it would be in summer though. Fish and chip van arrived wednesday night a very welcome surprise as we had walked solidly for 6 hours getting back in the dark! Fantastic walks straight from site our dogs loved it. The only issue we found was it could maybe do with a little more lighting to be able to get to the toilet block after dark. We will definitely be back thank you.

We arrived in the dark on friday evening.

We arrived in the dark on friday evening. We had rung to say we were running late due to traffic, lady said no problem they would wait in office for us. She later rang us back to see how we were doing in traffic. On arrival we were shown several pitches to choose from, and a friendly guy cycled in front of us and helped us get straight on pitch. We were shown location of toilet block, water and bins Next morning we had a nice walk around the site, it was clean tidy and well looked after. Shower's were clean and water hot and plentiful. Lovely walks for our dog, and a short drive to the coast. Fish and chip van visited saturday night We will definitely be back

Idyllic location within the Sandringham estate, with numerous walks available right from the site and the Norfolk coast within easy reach. Nothing wrong with the staff & welcome at all, but we have had friendlier welcomes & more interaction with staff at other sites, but I have no doubt they would have been equally helpful had we had need to ask. Site was busy due to school holidays, so many pitches already taken; we were asked if we wanted to be somewhere quite or near to the toilets - we asked for a balance of both, but got the impression the families & groups tended to be put near the main central toilet block; hence our pitch was quite noisy and we didn't quite have the quiet, relaxing weekend break we'd envisaged, but I'm sure quieter pitches are there if you seek them out. The site itself is quite sprawling and after pitching I went out to the shops to get supplies, returning in the dark - I took a wrong turn and ended up driving around for 15 minutes trying to find our tent, so perhaps so better signage or area markers (area a, b or red/blue/green etc) could be of use. Certainly will come back again though, as we love the area - just please don't put us underneath a tree with the exceedingly amorous pigeons again! ;-)

Stayed here during October half term week, beautiful site, lovely walks around the estate.

Stayed here during October half term week, beautiful site, lovely walks around the estate. Even though its a big site, it didn't feel crowded. Lots of area for the children to play in. As always the showers and general area was very clean and tidy, the holiday site wardens were very friendly and approachable. A fish van came on site every other day, very nice meal and a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this site, cant wait for my next visit.
