An excellent site with superb facilities.Trevor and Jane always make us welcome. The site is a short walk from Caerleon which has a number of good pubs and restaurants. Also to be recommended is the Wheatsheaf Pub at Llanhennock. Additionally there is an excellent cycle path into Newport. The location of the site is idyllic with views over the Usk valley

We stayed here the last weekend in October. I can honestly say that you couldn't find a nicer place for the money we paid. Trevor and Jane are a lovely couple who go out of their way to help you. The amenities are amazing. Two separate toilets and hot showers, basin, even soap provided, there is also a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster, also plates and cutlery etc. Everywhere is spotless. The views are amazing as it is quite high up, you can see for miles. The pitches are hard standing so suitable for all weather conditions. We got a bus into Newport, from there we walked to the train station and took a train to Cardiff. We went to the castle and the house (which was fantastic) we also had a look round the shops there. On the second full day we walked into Caerleon. There are lots of eating places to suit all tastes, we went to The Priory, we had a two course lunch for £11.95 each. The food is absolutely to die for. We also went and saw the Roman Baths, and the ampetheatre (this is free to do) Sadly the museum is closed at the moment due to it needing a new roof. Hope these comments help someone to decide to stay at this lovely place. You won't be disappointed!

Went at end of August. Great hosts and would do anything for you. Site is gorgeous but very small. Had to move pitch when one became free as could not set up awning due to uneven ground. More catered for campervans than caravans. Toilet and showers were not the best although clean but for 4 of us paying £32 per night just expected a bit more. Nice town and taxi to train station in Newport wasn't bad either. If you have dogs they have a great field for them and a lovely view if you want to stay in and relax

We got a great welcome from the owners who made sure we were happy with the pitch and facilities. And thank you for letting us have some milk. The site has a great view over the Usk valley and the historic town of Caerleon is walkable. The facilities were excellent & the owners have provided a lot of handy extras (plates, pans, microwave, books, leaflets etc) - which is always handy. This would be a great base for a holiday in the area.
