    Overview

    Our campsite is beautifully located under the big skies of Lincolnshire.


    Lincolnshire’s coast and countryside is waiting to be explored from our pretty Woodhall Spa Club Site located in the Fenlands area of the county. The site enjoys a quiet, rural setting near the Edwardian town of the same name and accommodates some 90 units.

     

    This campsite is bordered by trees and offers some secluded pitches. There is a lake on site and you’re likely to share your pitch with a variety of wildlife including rabbits and wild birds such as woodpeckers and moorhens.


    The Edwardian town of Woodhall Spa is within walking distance and offers several places to eat. The Cottage Museum tells the history of the local community and the Kinema in the Woods – a unique two-screen cinema – is open seven days a week.


    If you're looking for sandy beaches head to the popular resort of Skegness and Chapel St Leonards. These are both brimming with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In contrast, the peaceful Lincolnshire Wolds provide a beautiful landscape of rolling hills and gentle valleys, perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife watching. You'll find the market towns of Market Rasen, Louth, Horncastle and Spilsby provide a range of shops and eateries.


    Aircraft enthusiasts will enjoy the Battle of Britain Air Museum at RAF Coningsby and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Other local attractions include Lincoln Castle and Tattershall Castle, a dramatic red brick tower managed by the National Trust.

    Woodhall Spa village is 2.1 miles away, Ebrington Arms pub is 1.2 miles away. Please do not arrive on site before 1pm due to restricted access to site.

    Local area

    Tattershall Castle

    Towering proudly above the Lincolnshire Fens, Tattershall Castle was built as a manor house in 1231 to impress aristocratic guests. In the 15th century, it was rebuilt and expanded into the magnificent red brick castle we see today.

    Lincoln Aviation Heritage Centre

    Formed over 20 years ago, the Lincoln Aviation Heritage Centre is a family run museum honouring the 55,000 men of Bomber Command who gave their lives during World War Two. The centre is home to one of the world’s rarest aircrafts, the Avro Lancaster Bomber.

    Lincoln Cathedral

    For over 238 years, Lincoln Cathedral was the tallest building in the world, taking the title from the Great Pyramids of Giza until the spire was destroyed by a storm in 1549. Marvel at the gothic architecture and discover one of the four remaining copies of the Magna Carta.

    Lincolnshire Wolds AONB

    Officially designed at as an Area of Natural Beauty in 1973, the Lincolnshire Wolds comprises rolling hills, steep valleys and sandstone rock. Iconic British poet Lord Alfred Tennyson was born in the quaint village of Somersby and referenced the Wolds frequently in his poetry.
