Peaceful location but in easy reach of Garstang. Very well maintained and managed site.

Peaceful location but in easy reach of Garstang. Very well maintained and managed site. Welcoming and friendly owners. Our weekend break was made all the better by the warm and friendly welcome we received from the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The information cabin was fully stocked with leaflets, books, magazines, DVD's etc. The owners obviously take great pride in their site. We would definitely stay again.

Great place for overnight break when travelling, but most stay longer. Friendly people on site and owners are really helpful. Easy walk to canal which is excellent for dog walks. We visited going and coming back from Northumberland. We shall be using this one again

We have just spent 1 night on an outstanding site, beautifully laid out with colourful flower beds and with large level hard standing pitches for motorhomes and caravans. This is a basic chill out site - there are no toilets or showers, no playground for children, no shop or take-away just peace and quiet and spotlessly clean with glorious country views all round. Dog friendly with plenty of good walks, and only a few minutes from the towpath of the Lancaster Canal. The owners Trevor and Susan are friendly and welcoming - when I phoned to enquire about a pitch I was told just to pull into the field and set up on the first vacant pitch no report to the office and hand over your money first. In fact I had to find Trevor to pay him before we could leave! The site tariff covers everything pitch, awning, 2 adults, 2 dogs and 10amp hook-up all for 13 superb value. This site is one we will definitely be returning to, and spending longer visits as this time we only stayed 1 night trying out our new motorhome and awning.
