A break away from town and city life
We stayed on this site for 5
nights and I found it to be most relaxing , it was really quiet day and night , situated great for Gillingham and Chatham with a good camping shop in the former, will definitely be coming back.

A pleasant and quiet CS
We chose this site primarily because of its location near to the rail station as our daughter was visiting us from Gravesend. It is easy to find, and towing access is easy as long as you follow the directions given ...... satnavs will probably try to take you via the village of Upham which is undesirable.
It is a pleasant and very quiet location. There are stables on site so be prepared for 'horse smells'! Unfortunately there are limited walking opportunities directly from the site
There are two adjoining fields. The first seems to be the 'CS field' and was full during our visit. There are adequate EHU points. The second field appeared to have a number of long-stay caravans, and was also used by a rally group over a weekend. This was no problem at all to us, but I mention it in case '5 van only' is important to others.
The Little Brown Jug pub is less than a 10minute walk and serves very reasonably priced food ... mainly Italian style. (The food hours are quirky, so do check).

A very peaceful site away from traffic, clean and
well maintained
The camp site was divided in to 2 fields,
clean and well presented, no shower or
toilet block, there is 1 porter loo with a
CDU, a recycling area for your waste,
the owner was very polite and welcomed
me on site as I arrived, in the 6 days I was
here I enjoyed every minuet.

A lovely peaceful site for a getaway. Very easy to find and lovely owner who greeted us. Could pitch where we liked and had loads of space , nice trees and horses in field. Couple of fields , one being used for a DA meet. Not a big fan of the chemical toilet but it was there if you needed it. Would visit again.
