Overview

  • Campsites next to or within walking distance of a beach

    Top site for beaches

Please note you will experience some noise disruption and dust at this site for the foreseeable future as there is a new housing estate being constructed next door. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Explore the beauty of England's south coast from our campsite.

With cycling and walking trails in abundance, miles of sandy beaches, bustling towns, pretty chocolate box villages and a host of family attractions within a short distance our Chichester Club Campsite offers something for everyone.

Chichester is a small, welcoming campsite. Once an orchard it is now a great base to stay when exploring the numerous attractions for all of the family.

Head across the road on foot or two wheels to enjoy the paths to the coast and Chichester harbour. Or catch a bus from outside the site to Chichester (great for shopping), Bognor, Littlehampton and Brighton in one direction and Southampton and Portsmouth (with the Spinnaker Tower, Gunwharf Keys and the Historic Dockyard) in the other.

For a bucket and space day head to the Blue Flag beach at West Wittering where you’ll find sand dunes, sheltered waters and acres of space. East Head and Selsey too are great for lazy beach days.

Worth Noting

Please note that the site cannot accept units over 8m long. Electric security barriers are in operation. There is no parking for visitors or for 2nd cars, and because of the narrow entrance road there are no overnight parking facilities. There is no Motorhome Service Point on site.

WiFi

100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available. Prices.

Eat Local

Chichester hosts a farmers' market twice a month. Southbourne farm shop near to site sells a range of local products and the Tupenny Barn sells organic fruit and vegetables.

This is one of our favourite sites.

This review is for Chichester

This is one of our favourite sites. Plenty of great dog walking, into Emsworth, Chidham, Prinstead. We were one of the last on this site in November 2017 and one of the first late February/early March 2018. Tracy and Di have done a fab job during the closed season. Site looks refreshed, clean and a very friendly site. Keep up the good work.

We were living in our motorhome for a few weeks due to burst pipe at home. Couldnt have asked for a better site. Everyone helpful and friendly and the site kept very clean. The weather was dreadful at times so the site got muddy but the matting on the grass that make up the hard standing stood up to the weather. Buses and trains go from close to the site so no shortage of places to visit. A nice pub selling good food almost next door and the small town of Emsworth is a 20 minute walk away with plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The road is quite busy but it didnt disturb us and neither did the building work next door. Its only a few miles from our home but wed certainly come back for a weekend (once we get back into our house!) Thank you for keeping on fitting us into your camp site

Lovingly cared for site with superb staff.

Lovingly cared for site with superb staff. The 700 Coastliner bus stops by the pub next door making Chichester, Portsmouth, Hayling Island and Emsworth an easy option. This site is so much more than a ferry stopover, loved it.
