Super warm welcome from Darren when we arrived.

Super warm welcome from Darren when we arrived. Great pitches, hard standing, level and very spacious. I'm sure there could have been more pitches when planned, but I am guessing that it was designed like it is to provide plenty of space for each unit. Not only are the owners and team friendly; the other people staying on the site were also very welcoming and friendly and we soon discovered that this is a site that people come back to again and again.....and I know why. Fishing lodge in the middle, very nicely landscaped with mature trees and hedges. Five minute walk into the village, where there is a dog friendly pub, which serves good food at a good price. Lovely walks along the coast. Communal bothy where everyone is invited from 6pm until 8pm to have a drink, chat and fish and chips on a Friday (of course you have to bring your own supplies). We will be back to enjoy this site; and as it is open all year round there will be opportunities in winter. Overall....thumbs up from us.

Great little site, well thought out, well kept and in a great location.

Great little site, well thought out, well kept and in a great location. We had a pitch right next to the pond, but all hardstanding pitches are the probably the most generous in size I have seen on any CS site so far. Very quiet, but also 5 mins walk from Garlieston and the dog friendly pub. Will definitely be back!

I can't add any more praise than has already been written. A lovely area in which to relax and if feeling more adventurous - wonderful cycling on what must be the quietest roads in Scotland. What a treat!
