The Purbeck Hills, award winning beaches and a castle make this a popular family site.

Our Club campsite at Corfe Castle lies at the foot of the Purbeck Hills, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and has close proximity to the Blue Flag award-winning Studland beach with four miles of glorious sand and bustling Swanage with its pretty beach huts.  Lulworth Cove and the iconic Durdle Door on the Jurassic Coastline are a must!

The campsite has an abundance of wildlife from badgers, owls and pretty moths to beautiful wild flowers such as bluebells and orchids.  It’s also near to the Arne RSPB nature reserve making this a great spot for lovers of the outdoors.

Nearby Kimmeridge offers a marine reserve and snorkelling whilst Poole Harbour has watersports for the more adventurous!...A leisurely 15 minute walk from site finds you at Corfe Castle, a stunning ruin from the English Civil War whose iconic silhouette can be seen from miles around. The pretty grey stone village of Corfe Castle lies in the shadow of the romantic castle ruins. Around its square is a cluster of tearooms, trinket shops and pubs.

Our family-friendly campsite offers a mix of hardstanding and grass pitches, some of pitches are under trees. There’s an on-site shop with fresh bread and newspapers delivered daily, a family shower room and wet room for disabled visitors.

Please use the downloadable map available here, rather than satnav to ensure you access the site via A351.

Motorhomes must be booked onto hardstandings.

Corfe Castle currently holds an AA 4 Pennant Award.

Access and SatNav Advice

There is no site signage from the Church Knowle direction. From the A351 Wareham direction turn right at the foot of the castle. Drive for ¾ of a mile and turn right at the Corfe Castle C&CC sign. Beware satnav may direct you past the entrance lane.

Worth Noting

Boat owners please be aware there is an additional pitch fee policy. The site has level hardstandings, levellers may be required for grass pitches. Some pitches are under trees. TV reception can be poor.

Eat Local

Farmers’ Markets in Wareham and Wimborne. The Greyhound, The Castle Inn, the National Trust Tea Rooms, Corfe Castle Model Village and The New Inn, Church Knowle serve homemade produce. The site shop sells a good selection of locally-sourced produce.

This site has evolved over the last few years into a beautifully kept site within close proximity to the stunning village of Corfe. A warm welcome awaits, as does a shop stocking essentials and a fresh bread/pastry ordering service. The amenities are spotless, the grass is cut regularly and the pitches are generous. Swanage is a short car drive away. In all, perfectly located. We shall continue to visit.

This was our first trip to a C&CC site since joining.

This was our first trip to a C&CC site since joining. The welcome was warm & friendly as were the majority of others staying. Corfe Castle is a 15min relaxed walk away with several pubs, Steam railway that goes to Swanage & the castle of course. If you jump on the train & head 1 stop north to Norden, there is a mining museum which is free to enter but a donation is always well received. Main shop is a 10min drive away in Wareham, Bovington Tank museum & Monkey World are just a 25min drive north. Loved that a Fish & Chip van came onto site (Tues & Fri 18.45) & prices was very reasonable. Really relaxed feeling about the place & will be heading back soon.

ALL STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND TOILETS AND SHOWERS SPOTLESS AT ALL TIMES. THE SITE HAD A PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE WITH LOTS OF BIRDS. RSPB ARNE IS ONLY A TEN MINUTE DRIVE AWAY, ALSO STUDLAND BAY WITH LOVELY BEACHES. FROM STUDLAND YOU CAN TAKE A FERRY AND SHORT BOAT RIDE TO NATIONAL TRUST'S BROWNSEA ISLAND AND SEE THE RED SQUIRRELS. A GREAT HOLIDAY.
