Very warmest of welcomes awaits you at this little site.

Very warmest of welcomes awaits you at this little site. Tucked away in a pretty, but fairly remote location. We were in a 7mtr motorhome with no other vehicle with us. Once we pitch we stay on site. Couple of flat pitches right at entrance but the rest are higher up on site and not the easiest to get to, also very little room to manoeuvre. None of these pitches are level. We did manage, after a couple of attempts, to go right to the top as we wanted the privacy. The lowest pitches are almost on the doorstep of owners cabin. The toilet and shower very clean and at the entrance, looks a bit like a portercabin but don't be put off by this. No on site lighting, so if you pitch up at the higher levels make sure you pack a torch, youll need this for the "pub" However this suits us as we like the night skies. Birds in abundance and not bothered by the campers. Bird feeders in trees add to this pleasure. There is a micro brewery about 50 yards from site, this also serves as the local pub Friday evening's and Saturdays from noon. Again, wonderful welcome awaits you when you arrive at there. It's a shed really, with table, chairs and sofas, bit quirky but sweet. Lots of walking around the surrounding areas is avalible should you wish. This site will not be everybody's cup of tea as it's bit basic, but we loved it and will be back.

A beautiful secluded site, run by very welcoming and friendly hosts. Unfortunately were unable to spend as much time as we would have liked around the campsite but we did enjoy eating breakfast whilst watching the birds on the bird feeder set up next to our tent. The attached Art Brewery was a very pleasant surprise which we visited on the Friday evening. It was lovely to meet and chat with some of the local community. We will certainly be returning in the future.

This campsite is a little gem. We had a fantastic six relaxing days stay here. The shower facility is kept immaculate and the site is spotless. Anthony and Margaret are great hosts and very welcoming, we were made a cup of tea upon arrival. We went to the beach most days a pleasant 20-25 journey to Bude, also to Westward Ho great beach. I can only speak highly of this campsite and we will be returning. There is a micro brewery on site I would recommend the black cherry and chocolate porter ale absolutely lovely also the homemade jam. This is a small bespoke site with secluded spots very peaceful. A great place for children to explore Thanks again for a great holiday

If I had children this is the place I would want to bring them up.

If I had children this is the place I would want to bring them up. There is a large pond, a river with 3 small, accessible islands, wildlife and birds in abundance, lots of places to explore, peace and quiet. It is run by a very friendly family for whom nothing is too much trouble and everything is a pleasure. Of course the brewery taproom being open for the 3 days we were there has in no way coloured my view. In short, it is an idyll.
