    Top site for beaches

Our lovely Club Site on the south Devon coast.

The South Hams offers a wonderful mix of coast, moorland and rolling hills and a range of activities to match from walking and cycling to sailing and surfing. For history lovers there are delights such as Totnes Castle and The South Devon Railway, while a range of arts and food festivals and sailing regattas will keep culture-vultures happy.

Where better to base yourself to enjoy these delights than at our lovely Dartmouth Club campsite. Aptly named as the attractive harbour town is just a five minute drive away, the site offer campers stunning sea views over Start Bay. Spacious pitches, a large camping field and family shower room are among the facilities on offer.

There are beaches aplenty - Blackpool Sands is within walking distance – Slapton Sands, Torcross, Beesand Beach and Hall Sands are a short drive away.

Also easily accessed are Totnes, Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. At the latter cross the River Dart to the pretty village of Kingswear and hop on board the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway for a ride along the Torbay coast. While on this side of the river, Greenway is a magical place to explore. Once the holiday home of Agatha Christie it is now managed by the National Trust.

If you'd like to go glamping then Dartmouth Ready Camp is the perfect choice. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Worth Noting

Our first time camping as a family of 5! We stayed in a ready camp tent on the site and it was fantastic! The amenities were clean and easy to use and the kids spent the whole time with a new crowd of buddies at the park! The closest beach( Blackpool sands) is beautiful, love that it teeny stones not sand!!! all super clean with a nice caf and toilets. The town of Dartmouth is so cute and welcoming, with brilliant crabbing opportunities and lovely shops!!! We were gutted we only stayed 3 nights and have already looked at booking up for next year!!!

Parents paid to take thier caravan here, me and my partner decided to go too with our little girl. On arrival was charged 140 to stay in my parents van, there is nothing on the site so what were we paying for?! Staff were rude and miserable. Worst site ive ever been on and yet the most expensive!
