The site is clean and well maintained.

This review is for Raines Hall

The site is clean and well maintained. Shower (additional charge) and toilet available, shared with the Farm Park. Pitches are a reasonable size, we fit our 8m long 'van on with no problem, access for a large outfit good. Staff friendly, although I never did work out who was in charge. We were on site for a week in mid June and were plagued with house flies. the camping field is in close proximity (< 100yd) to the muck heap. Lots of farmyard smells too. During the open season for the farm park (mid July - September) I wouldn't stay here without children for a peaceful break as the noise from the playbarn (about 50yds away) is quite irritating all day. We only had it for 1 day so no real problem for us. Views lovely and easy access to Kendal and The Lakes. Good walking and cycling from the site.

Great site if you have kids.

This review is for Raines Hall

Great site if you have kids. Play areas are excellent and everything in the lakeland farm attraction is included in the £19 a night fee (camper van, 2 adults, 2 kids and hookup). Toilets and shower room are basic but clean.

This is a nice site in a lovely area.

This review is for Raines Hall

This is a nice site in a lovely area. It is close to a lot of the attractions of the Lakes for the older travelers but is very well suited to young families with the "in house' attractions for the kids. Facilities clean and well maintained and is well worth a visit.
