Difficult access to site.

This review is for Gray Farm

Difficult access to site. The site has electric and water points to each of the five hard standings. The owner is very friendly and sorted out a problem with the electricity we had very quickly. The site has wonderful views towards the sea and is only 10 minute drive from St Austell. there are no toilet or shower facilities on site so own caravan facilities have to be used. If you're looking for a quiet out of the way caravan site then this is for you, you only have to share it with the horses and the sheep. if you are visiting this site with a large caravan be very careful as the road way to the site is very narrow. Taking all into consideration I would visit this site again.

This is a lovely peaceful site with only the sound of cows, horses and birds.

This is a lovely peaceful site with only the sound of cows, horses and birds. The view of the sea and Gribbin Head is wonderful. The pitches are large: hard-standing, with their own grass areas (well-kept), each one separated by mounds where wild flowers are starting to grow. All five pitches have electricity and water. There is a track to the Eden Project in Trethurgy Village. Cycling is hilly and there is nothing really in the village. The access track is bumpy at the start but otherwise fine. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will visit again.

We made a last minute visit to Cornwall for a day out at the Eden Project and found this site on the CCC website, Paul the owner replied to emails very promptly and on arrival he was very welcoming, friendly and helpful full of useful local knowledge and also offered the loan of walking maps. The site is a lovely small grass field where you can watch rabbits, pheasants and bats in the evening, very quiet and secluded. Paul allowed a campfire which was a fabulous treat and absolutely perfected our trip for the kids. Couldn't ask for more, we love the back to basics style!

The owner said "It's just a field".

The owner said "It's just a field". Uphill and not very level anywhere! Just a field it was, magnificent views, lovely and isolated, would be tricky towing I think, Great walking in the area. Walked to Eden Project from there plus lots of other walks around quarry sites etc. Loo tip and water point was all facilities, but that's all we wanted so it did the job nicely thank you.
