An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the North Cornish coast

With an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Children’s play area
Bathing and surfing beaches within easy reach

The surrounding area

You’ll find some of north Cornwall’s best bathing and surfing beaches within easy reach of our Bude Club campsite. The campsite boasts a prime location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Boscastle and Crackington Haven. Bude lies nine miles to the north, while south are Tintagel and Camelford.

The nearby fishing port of Boscastle is worth visiting. Learn about the legend of King Arthur in Tintagel, enjoy a cliff top walk to the castle ruins and Merlin’s Cave. Just south of Tintagel Trebarwith Strand is a popular surfing beach and dog-friendly. Port Isaac, made famous by TV’s Doc Martin and Boscastle, a delightful fishing port with white washed cottages, steep narrow streets and alleyways, should not be missed.

North of Bude campsite, Widemouth Bay and Blackrock Sands is fabulous for surfing and sunbathing.

John and Jenny the new assistants welcomed us when we arrived. Very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a problem with the boilers and we were unable to have a shower for a couple of days whilst new boilers were being installed.

We arrived the second day it was open.

We arrived the second day it was open. very friendly reception, well laid out site and very clean nice to see the grass clippings picked up during mowing, saves a lot of grass in the caravan. We had a grass pitch and no trouble getting on or off despite the very wet previous weeks. a bit of road noise but this becomes less noticeable during the week. will use this site again during our next visit to the Sw
