Site is in a beautiful country location attached to a trout fishery, with great sandy beaches nearby. Top class welcome/help from owners. The overall and I feel best thing to say is that the site is "what it says on the tin". Starting from the directions, to the facilities, the location and things to do around the area of Castlerock, we found to be correct and/or very useful. The campsite is away from the immediate confines of the lakes of the trout fishery though you are allowed to walk around and use its lovely little coffee/bistro café. The owners,William & Stephanie, were very welcoming, helpful about the locality and interested to know where we had spent our day - very easy people to have a chat with, plus nice touches like the provision of ice. The immediate costal area is blessed with superb sandy beaches for dog walking (we had 5 small dogs with us!) and other activities from Benone and Downhill to the west , Portstewart and Portrush to the east and Castlerock being closest. The legendary Giants Causeway and Bushmills Whisky distillery are about a 30 minute drive away. It is also easy to make a day trip to northern County Donegal via the Lough Foyle ferry at Magilligan Point and visit the most northern point of Ireland at Malin Head (amazing scenery and views the day we went) We had a very enjoyable week blessed with dry weather though rather cold and windy for June !

A real gem.

A real gem. All the staff are really friendly and gave us lots of good advise on places to visit. We had an excellent meal in the Bisto which was very good value. We also had a nice hot shower. We had a camper van but there were also 3 caravans. We would definitely recommend this site.
