Fantastic location next to Glencoe visitor centre, which is where you turn off the main road.

Fantastic location next to Glencoe visitor centre, which is where you turn off the main road. Large hard standing pitch but pitches separated by wooden flower troughs which were mainly filled with weeds. Pitch also very weedy. Facility block large and to a high standard, however no hot water on last morning. Do go to the visitor centre but there is a charge (free to NT and NTS members). Lots of walks but do not try to walk up the glen alongside the A82 as we did. The verge is narrow and road busy, there are no paths until you reach the Clachaig Inn turning. Best to walk down the lovely wooded path to Glencoe Village and then up the old road on the orbital path. An obvious choice for serious hillwalkers but also some lower level full day walks from the site on good paths.

Have'nt been to this site for 9 years, so was pleased to return.

Have'nt been to this site for 9 years, so was pleased to return. However, we were dissapointed to see the standard of the site has somewhat diminished over that time, its looking somewhat tired and unkempt! Our greeting was below average for a club site, and when directed to our pitch, it was "this one or find your own"! We believe in grass cutting to preserve areas for insects and wildlife, but the hardstanding pitches were covered with weeds, which to be fair could have done with a dose of weedkiller at the beginning of the season to smarten them up. The planting boxes between pitches were full of weeds, and had they had a few spring flowers or bedding plants, it would have made a huge difference to the apperance of the site. Apart from the tired standard of the site and the total disregard for the 5mph limit by the majority of campers (what a good thing there were no children on site) we overall enjoyed our stay! Whether we would return is questionable!

Disappointed by only one washing machine and dryer for the whole campsite - wholly inadequate.

Disappointed by only one washing machine and dryer for the whole campsite - wholly inadequate. Kept awake all night as were my neighbours by repeated power cuts during evening and through the night. Needed professional electrical attention to identify problem and resolve it before exposing many members to unreliable service and disturbances. Spoiled the experience of a good setting/site.
