Albufeira Albufeira

Renowned among sunseekers and golfers throughout Europe, the area is a perennial favourite for Club members, with many finding wintering on this popular stretch of the Algarve to be addictive. A walkway and cycle path from the site means the town centre, only a mile away, is within easy reach, giving great access to many good quality restaurants, beaches and other local attractions. Of particular interest to motorhomers is the half-hourly bus service from outside the site entrance to Albufeira, linking into the excellent local public transport system. The railway station, giving access to Faro, Portimão, Lagos and Lisbon, is only 2.5 miles away, and the motorway is only 3 miles from site. It travels the length of the Algarve, providing quick and easy connections to the towns and attractions that this lovely coastal region has to offer – or you can choose an unhurried drive through the local towns and villages along the main roads.

Albufeira is set to remain a much loved, and much sought after, winter destination.

Location:

• Centrally located for the Algarve coast, on the outskirts of Albufeira, about 2 miles from the town centre and fishermen’s beach
• Portimão 19 miles, Faro 23 miles, Spain 53 miles, Lisbon 161 miles
• Local transport (2018): Half hourly bus service from outside site entrance to various parts of Albufeira; car hire; taxis to town cost from about €6; train station 2.5 miles (by bus, or parking available)

Pitches:

Total pitches: 900. All have 10A electricity; water & drainage points at various places throughout site. Touring units may be pitched on upper or lower parts of site. The rally is held on the grassy area on the lower part of the site (exclusive use of this area is not guaranteed), which does not have defined pitches and includes 10A electricity; water and drainage points are at various places throughout the rally area.

• Several good quality older-style wash blocks (3 heated) hot & cold water to showers/basins; cold water to washing-up sinks, 1 hot water tap for each row of sinks
• Laundry facilities incl 4 washing machines, 2 dryers & laundry sinks with hot & cold water

Site Accessibility:

Dedicated accessible facilities. All sanitary blocks have separate male and female dedicated accessible rooms (access via single sex washblock) with shower, WC, basin. One unisex cubicle (access from outside) with shower, wc & basin, access by ramp (furthest from rally area). Ramp to reception/shop. Ramp/one step to bar/restaurant/function room, winding steps to wc, or go round bar via step & ramp to top unisex cubicle. Steps to pool. Gently sloping from rally area to reception/shop.
